One of the security crises in the countries of West Asia and Persian Gulf region is the emergence and their empowerment of the ISIS terrorist group whose actions and terroristic and jihadi activi-ties constantly threaten regional security. The important point about these Takfiri-terroristic movements is that the center of their activities is placed in Iran and its allies' strategic zone, and that's why surveillance and close observation of the ISIS activities by Iran is doubly important. Meanwhile, Syria, which is Iran's strategic depth and is deeply engaged in Takfiri-terroristic cri-ses, has had some security consequences for the Islamic Republic of Iran. Hence, the present pa-per attempts to investigate the impacts of the ISIS new rise to power and their Takfiri activities in Syria on Iran's national security using descriptive-analytical method and documentary research. Some of the findings of the research points to the fact that Syria's crisis is influencing the region-al order and security. Also, Syria's crisis has resulted in safe and suitable situation for the Zionist regime, penetration of terrorist-supporting groups in the region, development of military equip-ment in Iran's strategic zone, weakening of the resistance movement, damaging of Iran's regional and international prestige, America's military presence in Iran's neighbor countries, making a competition for the example of religious democracy, decrease of Iran's ideological capabilities and etc. which threatens Iran's national security in case the ISIS terrorist group gains full power.
