One of the grounds to build the soft power on in the countries has always been promoting the national language in the regional or global geo-politic. In other words، promoting a national language in a specific region can easily lead to an ease in achieving the plans the country has specified. There are a lot of units and institutions in the international politics waiting to promote their national languages so that they can reach their goals through teaching and promoting their language in the target society. Some of these goals include: consolidation of their national values and beliefs، constructive convergence with the world، representing a positive image of the political behaviors، cultural interaction، expanding foreign policy and so on and so forth. The present paper examines the role of the national language in the countries' soft power.
